He also added that, the device will be cheaper than the recently launched OnePlus 7T and will be manufactured in the same BBK Electronics factory where both OnePlus and Oppo devices are manufactured.

Earlier in September, Realme China’s Product Director Wang Wei Derek teased a phone with a 90 Hz display. According to him, the device will be cheaper than the recently launched OnePlus 7T and will be manufactured in the same BBK electronics factory where OnePlus and Oppo devices are manufactured.

Realme Marketing Manager, Xu Qi Chase, also took to Weibo, he separately announced that the upcoming phone powered by the Snapdragon 855+ SoC has been code-named Super Samurai. Samurai is basically the term used for warriors of pre-modern Japan.

A Weibo post claims the device is expected to make its debut in October in China and will be launched in India later. A Bluetooth SIG listing of Realme device was spotted recently. It suggests that the listed phone, rumored to be the Realme X2 Pro, will be lit by a 6.55-inch full-HD display, support Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi and run on Color OS 6.1.

This is for the first time Realme will be introducing Snapdragon 800 series chipset. With the Realme X2 Pro the company is most likely looking to take on the likes of Realme K20 Pro that comes with Snapdragon 855. Compared to the Snapdragon 855 the 855 Plus offers 15 per cent better GPU and 4 percent better CPU. So expect the Realme X2 Pro to offer much better gaming performance than the Redmi K20 Pro.
