Saad Siddiqui, a leading youth entrepreneur and technology ecosystem builder, has been appointed to lead Crypto and Blockchain at the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme.
The appointment has been made under the leadership of Chairman PMYP, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, as part of the Programme’s broader vision to prepare Pakistan’s youth for emerging digital technologies and future economic opportunities.
In this role, Saad Siddiqui will work closely with key national stakeholders including regulatory authorities, government institutions, universities, incubation centers, and industry partners to support initiatives related to blockchain technology, digital assets, youth capacity building, startup enablement, and employment pathways.
Pakistan, with over 280 million people and approximately 63 percent of its population under the age of 30, represents one of the largest youth populations in the world. This initiative aims to enable Pakistani youth to actively participate in the global digital economy by creating structured opportunities in education, innovation, entrepreneurship, and employment within the blockchain and Web3 sectors.
Speaking on his appointment, Saad Siddiqui said:
“Pakistan’s greatest strength is its youth. Our focus will be on building capacity, creating opportunities, and enabling our young people to become builders and contributors in the global digital economy. This will be done in close coordination with national institutions to ensure responsible, sustainable, and impactful growth of the ecosystem.”
Under this initiative, the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme will work in alignment with relevant government bodies, academic institutions, incubation centers, and industry to develop a coordinated national ecosystem.
Saad Siddiqui is a recognized technology entrepreneur and youth advocate who has been actively working to promote emerging technologies, startup development, and skills enablement among Pakistani youth.
