Samsung Galaxy A57 to Feature Flexible OLED Panel

Samsung appears ready to shake up its midrange playbook with the Galaxy A57, a phone that signals a quiet but meaningful shift. For the first time, the premium A-series model is expected to use a flexible OLED display, a move that hints at Samsung borrowing design cues from its flagship lineup.

According to a report, the flexible OLED panel will come from Chinese display maker CSOT. Samsung Display will not exit the picture, but this marks the first time Samsung plans to source A-series screens outside its own display arm. Samsung Display is still expected to supply more units than CSOT.

The switch to a flexible OLED panel could allow slimmer and more even side bezels. Earlier Galaxy A phones relied on rigid OLED panels, which limited design flexibility. The report adds that CSOT will also provide flexible OLED screens for the Galaxy S26 FE.

The Galaxy A57 is rumored to launch in February 2026 with an Exynos 1680 chipset. It is said to support 45W fast charging. The phone may feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro lens.
