Samsung Galaxy S26 Series

Rising costs have pushed many flagship smartphones higher in price, and 2026 is expected to follow the same trend. Surprisingly, Samsung seems ready to break that pattern with its upcoming Galaxy S26 series. According to the report, the company plans to launch the new lineup at the same US prices as the Galaxy S25 models, aiming to remain competitive against Apple and Chinese smartphone makers.

The price freeze, however, appears limited to the US market. In other regions, including Samsung’s home country, South Korea, the new models could carry higher tags. The base Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra debuted in the US at $799, $999, and $1,299, respectively, and the Galaxy S26 series is expected to match those prices.

This strategy extends beyond the S26 lineup. The Galaxy Z Fold8 and Flip8 will also maintain pricing similar to their predecessors, though some Galaxy A Series models are likely to see increases. While Samsung has not officially confirmed launch dates, reports suggest the Galaxy S26 will debut in San Francisco on February 25, with the foldables following in July.
