Samsung is expected to keep Galaxy S26 series prices largely unchanged, despite rising memory chip costs. The company appears focused on maintaining last year’s pricing structure to stay competitive in the premium smartphone market.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra will likely retain its base price. However, higher storage variants could see small increases due to increased memory prices. Even then, the overall pricing strategy should remain close to current levels.
The standard Galaxy S26 may see a slight adjustment, depending on storage configuration. If Samsung upgrades the base model to 256 GB, the price could rise. For comparison, the Galaxy S25 starts at 128 GB. On the other hand, the 512 GB version of the Galaxy S26 may receive a small discount.
The Galaxy S26 Plus is expected to follow a similar approach. The base 256 GB model should keep the same price. Meanwhile, the 512 GB version could see a minor adjustment, though not a significant one.
Samsung reportedly wants to avoid major price hikes, especially as Apple plans to keep its iPhone pricing unchanged this year. By holding prices steady, Samsung can remain competitive while managing higher component costs.
