Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Set to Boost Wired and Wireless Charging Speeds

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to bring faster wired and wireless charging compared to its predecessor. The S25 Ultra supported 45W wired charging, while leaks suggest the S26 Ultra could jump to 60W wired charging.

Tips from insiders indicate the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s wireless charging will also improve, reaching 25W, which is 10W faster than the S25 Ultra. The previous model offered 4.5W reverse wireless charging, but it remains unclear whether the S26 Ultra will match or exceed this speed.

Other models in the Galaxy S26 lineup are expected to see wireless charging upgrades as well. The standard Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ could support 20W wireless charging, up from 15W on their predecessors.

Leaks have also revealed the dimensions of the S26 series. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to measure 163.6 mm x 78.1 mm x 7.9 mm, while the Galaxy S26 is expected to measure 149.4 mm x 71.5 mm x 6.9 mm.

Previous reports offered slightly different figures for the Galaxy S26, including 149.5 x 71.6 x 7.24 mm and 149.3 x 71.4 x 6.96 mm. The official announcement will confirm the exact dimensions.
