Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8

Samsung’s next-generation foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold8, is already creating buzz long before its official launch next year. Fresh leaks have now surfaced, revealing key details about its display technology and battery performance.

The latest report suggests that Samsung will introduce a new laser-drilling metal plate technology in the Galaxy Z Fold8 hinge. This advanced design is expected to minimize the visible crease on the inner display, a long-standing concern for foldable users. Interestingly, the same technology is also rumored to appear in Apple’s much-anticipated iPhone Fold.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 is said to feature a larger battery, crossing the 5,000mAh mark. That’s a notable upgrade from the 4,400mAh cell found in the current Galaxy Z Fold7, promising longer battery life and improved efficiency.

Another exciting detail from the leak hints at the return of the S Pen, a popular feature among Samsung enthusiasts.

If the company sticks to its usual timeline, Samsung is expected to unveil both the Galaxy Z Fold8 and the Galaxy Z Flip8 in July 2026, unless production delays alter the schedule.
