Samsung Launches Galaxy Z TriFold in the US, Price Starts at $2,899

Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy Z TriFold in the US, and the device is already making headlines. Priced at $2,899, it costs $900 more than the Galaxy Z Fold7, reflecting its premium design and cutting-edge features.

The phone went on sale today through Samsung’s official website and Experience Stores. However, it sold out in just about 20 minutes. Samsung has not revealed how many units were available, leaving demand levels unclear.

Before the US release, Samsung held a few flash sales in South Korea. Even there, availability was extremely limited, making the TriFold an exclusive device from the start.

The Galaxy Z TriFold comes in a single Crafted Black finish and offers 512 GB of storage. Samsung describes it as more of a tech showcase than a mass-market device. The goal is to attract foldable enthusiasts and tech lovers who appreciate innovation.

Even at $2,899, Samsung is reportedly selling the TriFold at a loss, emphasizing the phone’s role as a statement product rather than a profit driver.
