Samsung Reveals Freestyle+ Projector Designed for Flexible Viewing
Samsung is getting an early jump on CES with the launch of the Freestyle+, a portable projector built around flexibility rather than raw brightness. The device targets users who want a compact projector that can move easily between rooms and setups. While it is not designed for bright environments, Samsung says it delivers clear gains over the previous model.
The Freestyle+ reaches a peak brightness of 430 ISO lumens. This level suits dark rooms but falls short when ambient light is present. Even so, it is almost twice as bright as the earlier Freestyle. That upgrade alone makes everyday viewing more practical than before.
Samsung keeps the familiar 180-degree rotating design. It allows projection at nearly any angle without extra accessories. Users can project onto walls, ceilings, or floors with minimal setup, which reinforces its portable appeal.
Several software features handle image correction automatically. 3D Auto Keystone fixes distortion on uneven or angled surfaces. Real-time Focus keeps the image sharp as the projector moves. Screen Fit adjusts the image to the screen area, while Wall Calibration analyzes surface colors to reduce visual distractions.
Samsung plans to release the Freestyle+ in the first half of 2026. It will be on display at Samsung’s CES exhibition space. Pricing has not been announced yet.
