Samsung’s Mid-Range Galaxy A57 5G May Charge Faster Than Flagship S26

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A57 5G has surfaced on China’s 3C certification site, hinting at impressive charging capabilities. Surprisingly, the mid-range device may charge faster than Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S26 series.

The 3C listing reveals that the Galaxy A57 5G, model number SM-A5760, supports 45W wired fast charging. It includes compatibility for both 10V/4.5A and 15V/3A charging configurations, suggesting rapid top-up times for users.

By comparison, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ were listed on 3C last September with a maximum wired charging speed of just 25W. This difference may disappoint consumers expecting flagship-level charging in Samsung’s premium models.

According to the source, despite its lower price, the Galaxy A57 5G could outshine the S26 series in charging speed. However, Samsung’s flagship phones will continue to lead in performance, cameras, display quality, and build. Faster charging would have been a welcome addition to the S26 lineup.

Samsung has yet to confirm the official launch date for the Galaxy A57 5G. Still, this certification listing provides an early glimpse at one of its standout features.
