The Saudi government has officially made biometric verification mandatory for the issuance of all Hajj visas. The Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed this development on Friday.
Pilgrims can complete their biometric verification from the comfort of their homes. To do this, you must use the “Saudi Visa Bio” mobile application. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs emphasised that this digital biometric step is now compulsory for obtaining a visa.
However, technology is not always perfect. If you are unable to complete the process through the app, you must visit the nearest “Saudi Tasheer Centre”. You need to act quickly. The ministry has advised that pilgrims using this alternative method must complete their biometrics before February 8.
