The Sindh Finance Department has announced advance payment of salaries, allowances, and pensions for Muslim government employees and pensioners ahead of Eid ul Adha.
According to an official notification, salaries and pensions for May 2026 will be released on May 20 instead of the scheduled date of June 1.
The advance payments will apply to all Muslim employees and pensioners of the provincial government, including work-charged and contingent-paid staff.
Officials said the decision was taken to facilitate employees and pensioners before Eid ul Adha, which is expected to fall on May 27 or May 28, subject to moon sighting.
