Mobile Phone Dealers From Peshawar Vanish During Europe Trip

ISLAMABAD: Two mobile phone dealers from Peshawar, who reportedly traveled to Germany on a trip organized by a private Pakistani mobile phone company, have allegedly gone missing.

According to sources, a delegation of 84 dealers from a company named Sparx Smartphones traveled to Germany on January 20. On the very first day of the trip, two dealers from Peshawar allegedly disappeared and have not been traced since.

An official from a Karachi-based tourism company said the disappearance of the two dealers was reported to German police, who searched for several days but failed to locate them. The incident has also reportedly been brought to the attention of the German Consulate General in Karachi.

A representative of the private company stated that all the dealers obtained visas from the German embassy after providing bank guarantees and completing other necessary documentation.

Concerns have been raised about the mysterious disappearance of the two dealers, with questions surrounding the circumstances of their vanishing. Allegations have surfaced that a senior official of the company, identified as Zeeshan Qureshi, took Rs5 million from the two dealers and helped them escape.

According to reliable sources, Sparx Smartphones is suspected of having created a new human smuggling method, enabling people to escape from Pakistan under the guise of business trips, following recent boat accident scandals.

Representatives of Sparx Smartphones did not respond to Tech Juice’s request for comments.

Meanwhile, government sources confirm that officials are investigating the case to locate the missing dealers and uncover the truth behind their disappearance.
