The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) has dismissed circulating rumors about a complete gas shutdown in Karachi. The company emphasized that gas distribution continues normally under its winter load management schedule.

In recent hours, social media posts created panic by claiming that Karachi would face a citywide gas suspension. SSGC clarified that these reports are false and urged residents to verify information through official channels.

“Gas distribution in Karachi continues under the existing winter load management policy. Night load management remains in place from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am,” said SSGC. The company further advised the public to contact its helpline or visit its official website for authentic updates and avoid sharing unverified reports.
