The phone was available for purchase exclusively on Daraz, Pakistan’s largest online selling platform. Daraz reported that the phone was sold out entirely within one day.

This set a new sales record for the Hong Kong-based smartphone company. The successful launch event held on 16^th of August was a cue to massive sales of this handset ahead. There were a few factors that led to record-breaking sales and popularity of this phone.

The reason behind such a phenomenal response was an established trust amongst users of TECNO phone. TECNO has managed to live up to the expectations it creates for its customers since it hit Pakistan’s market ion 2017. The phone was available at a very reasonable price which is merely 12,999 PKR. This led to a lot of demand for this phone as users saw it as a phone with quite decent specs in such an affordable price.

The main factor, however, was a very aggressive and out of the box campaign that resulted in generating the strong online presence of the smartphone brand’s latest phone. The very unique idea of involving TikTok users by giving them the challenge to do the floss dance as speed progressed resulted in top trending of #SparkTheSpeed challenge and this hashtag got 1 billion views till date.

The main attraction behind this challenge was that celebrities were also witnessed taking this challenge. One of the top celebrities including Imran Ashraf, HinaAltaf and Noor Hassan took part in this challenge.
