vivo is expanding its T5 series with a new smartphone that is expected to launch soon. The lineup already includes the T5, T5 Pro, and T5x, and now a fourth model is joining the family. The upcoming vivo T5 Lite is expected to feature a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display. It will support a 120Hz refresh rate and reach up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. This should offer a smooth viewing experience in daily use.
For photography, the device is said to include a 50MP main rear camera. On the front, it may carry a 5MP selfie shooter for basic video calls and photos. Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with 5G support. This processor is designed to handle everyday tasks with better efficiency.
The phone will reportedly pack a large 6,500mAh battery. It will also support 44W wired fast charging, which should help reduce charging time. In terms of memory, the vivo T5 Lite is expected to come in three variants. These include 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM with 256GB storage.
The device is also said to carry IP65 dust and water resistance certification. For security, it will include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Design-wise, it measures 8.39mm in thickness and weighs 209 grams. It is expected to arrive in two color options, Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue.
