A new leak has revealed fresh details about the upcoming vivo V80 series. The latest information suggests the lineup could launch as early as next month. It also highlights the expected features of the standard Vivo V80.
According to a tipster on X, vivo plans to unveil the vivo V80 series in mid-August. However, the company has not confirmed the launch date yet. The leak claims the standard Vivo V80 will feature a 6.59-inch flat display. It is expected to offer a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals.
The smartphone will reportedly keep the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset from the vivo V70. However, it may receive a major battery upgrade. The device is tipped to pack a 7,200mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging.
The camera setup may remain unchanged from the previous model. According to the leak, the Vivo V80 will include a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the front, it is expected to feature a 50MP selfie camera.
The leak also points to several premium features. These include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, an aluminum alloy frame, and an IP69 rating for better dust and water resistance.
The Vivo V70 debuted earlier this year. If this leak proves accurate, the Vivo V80 series could arrive only a few months later with a bigger battery while keeping many of its predecessor’s core specifications.
Since Vivo has not made any official announcement, readers should treat these details as rumors until the company confirms them.
