Vivo’s next foldable phone may arrive with one of the biggest batteries seen in the segment so far. Fresh details from China’s 3C certification database suggest the upcoming vivo X Fold6 could feature a massive 7,000mAh battery.
The new certification was spotted; according to the listing, the foldable phone will use a dual-cell battery setup with a typical capacity of 6,900mAh.
Screenshots shared by the source show two separate battery cells. One carries a rated capacity of 2,807mAh, while the second offers 3,863mAh. Together, they deliver a combined rated capacity of 6,670mAh.
If these details prove accurate, the Vivo X Fold6 will pack a larger battery than the 6,000mAh unit inside the Oppo Find N6. However, it will remain slightly behind the 7,150mAh battery available in the 1TB version of the Honor Magic V6.
Apart from the battery, several key specifications of the foldable have also surfaced online. Reports suggest the Vivo X Fold6 may run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset. The camera setup could include a 200MP main sensor, alongside a 50MP ultrawide camera. In addition, Vivo may equip the phone with a 50MP periscope telephoto lens.
The foldable display details have also appeared in recent leaks. The device is expected to feature an 8.02-inch internal screen with UTG protection and 2K resolution. Meanwhile, the outer cover display could measure 6.51 inches.
Recent reports further claim Vivo may officially unveil the X Fold6 later this month. While the company has not confirmed the launch date yet, leaks surrounding the device continue to build ahead of its expected debut.
