A new leak has revealed a more exact launch timeline for vivo’s next foldable phone, the vivo X Fold6. Earlier reports suggested the device could arrive between April and June. However, a fresh update now points to a late June debut in China.
According to the source, Vivo will introduce the X Fold6 in China by the end of June. The upcoming foldable is expected to arrive with several hardware upgrades while keeping a familiar design.
The Vivo X Fold6 may feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The device is also expected to keep the large circular rear camera module seen on its predecessor. However, Vivo could make small design changes this time. The display reportedly comes with more rounded corners for a smoother look.
The camera setup could also see major improvements. Reports suggest the foldable may include a 200MP primary camera alongside a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. In addition, the phone is rumored to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery.
Although Vivo has not confirmed any details yet, leaks suggest the X Fold6 could become one of the most powerful foldable phones from the brand.
