Vivo is set to unveil the X500 family on September 21. Ahead of the launch, the main specifications of the X500 Pro Max have surfaced online. The X500 Pro Max will feature a 6.85-inch flat LTPO OLED display. It will support a 144Hz refresh rate and come with ultra-thin bezels.
The phone is expected to use the Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. It will also pack a 7,000 mAh battery with 90W wired charging support. Wireless charging will also be available, although its speed remains unknown.
The rear camera setup will include three sensors. The main camera will use Sony’s Lytia 910 sensor. It is a 1/1.28″ type LOFIC sensor with 3-degree OIS. The ultrawide camera will use Samsung’s ISOCELL JNX sensor. It will offer a 50MP resolution. Meanwhile, the periscope telephoto camera will feature a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP0 sensor.
The telephoto sensor measures 1/1.4″ type and is said to support CIPA 7.0 professional-grade stabilization. It will also support a 400mm teleconverter for longer-range shots. The X500 Pro Max is expected to reach global markets in October or November. However, Vivo has already secured certification for the phone in the UAE.
The device was certified by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). The standard X500 also received certification alongside the Pro Max. The certification adds to the signs that Vivo plans to expand the X500 lineup beyond China. More details should emerge when the series is officially unveiled on September 21.
