Rumors around the vivo X500 series are starting to take shape, and early details suggest a familiar strategy with a few changes. Vivo is expected to skip the number 4 due to tetraphobia, so the next lineup will likely follow the X300 series with the X500 name.
A fresh leak from the source sheds light on the displays planned for the upcoming models. Although exact names were not confirmed, the leak outlines three different screen sizes and specifications.
First, one device will feature a 6.37-inch flat LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution. This model is widely believed to be the standard X500. Meanwhile, another variant will offer a larger 6.83-inch flat LTPO OLED panel with a sharper 2K resolution. This version is expected to arrive as the X500 Pro.
In addition, a third model is under consideration. It may come with a 6.59-inch flat LTPS OLED display and 1.5K resolution. However, its final release has not been decided yet.
Since these details focus on devices launching in China this fall, they likely do not include the Ultra model expected next year. Based on current information, the smaller 6.37-inch device fits the base model, while the 6.83-inch version aligns with the Pro variant.
The identity of the third device remains unclear. It could carry an FE brand, or Vivo might adjust the naming structure. For example, the mid-sized phone could be called Pro, while the larger version may adopt a Pro Max label. For now, the company has not confirmed these details, but more information should surface soon.
