Vivo’s upcoming Y600 has appeared in China Telecom’s database, revealing its key specifications and official-looking images ahead of its launch. The company has already confirmed that the phone will debut in China on October 30, with pre-orders starting October 26.
According to the listing, the Vivo Y600 will feature a 6.83-inch display and MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset. It will come in three memory configurations: 6GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB, and 8GB/256GB. The phone will also pack a 10,000 mAh battery and run Android 16 with OriginOS 6.
For photography, the Y600 will feature a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The device measures 163.9 x 76.5 x 8.59mm and weighs 224g. Buyers will reportedly be able to choose between blue, gold, and black color options.
The specifications suggest that the Y600 is closely related to the Vivo S2 FE and V80 Lite. Both phones use the same chipset and battery capacity, although they feature a higher-resolution 32MP selfie camera. This also sets the Chinese Y600 apart from the global Y600 5G.
Compared with last year’s vivo Y500, the new model brings a larger battery and a slightly bigger display. The Y600 packs a 10,000 mAh battery, up from the Y500’s 8,200 mAh unit. Its screen also grows from 6.77 inches to 6.83 inches.
Once launched, the Y600 will join the Y600 Pro, Y600 Turbo, and Y600i in vivo’s smartphone lineup. The company has yet to reveal its official price. However, more details should emerge around the October 30 launch.
