Vivo has quietly listed a new Y32 on its official website in Bangladesh. The new model is unrelated to the Y32 launched in 2021. The company has reused the Y32 name for this newer device. The listing does not explain why Vivo chose the same name again.
The new Vivo Y32 features a 6.87-inch LCD display. It offers a 720×1592 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can also reach 1,300 nits of peak brightness. For photography, the phone has a 50MP main camera. It is paired with a 2MP secondary sensor on the rear. The exact purpose of this sensor is not clearly stated. It could be used for depth data.
An 8MP camera is placed on the front for selfies and video calls. Meanwhile, the phone gets a large 8,000mAh battery. It also supports 44W wired charging for faster top-ups. The vivo Y32 is powered by the Unisoc T7300 chipset. It comes with either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage is listed at 128GB and uses the UFS 2.2 standard. Storage can also be expanded when needed.
A fingerprint scanner is built into the power button on the side. The phone will be available in Twilight Red and Sunset Orange. Both color options give the device a distinct look.
Vivo has also given the Y32 IP68 and IP69 ratings. These ratings provide protection against dust and water. The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top. The Bangladesh listing does not provide pricing or availability details yet. Vivo could reveal more information as the phone reaches additional markets.
