World’s most widely used online messaging service — WhatsApp has added more significant upgrades in its voice note feature.

We know that WhatsApp has a handful of new features in the pipeline that it doesn’t officially announce, but if you are one of those geeks who are using the beta version of the app, you already have access to these. As of now, the WebBetaInfo reports that the latest update for WhatsApp’s stable build is adding a new feature — consecutive voice messages. Reportedly, the feature was available for beta users since November last year.

Let’s try to better understand, what exactly are consecutive voice notes? In actual, it means that when one of your contacts is sending you more than one voice messages, the new version of WhatsApp will automatically play those messages if they were sent one after another.

The new feature is live for the WhatsApp beta 2.19.86. In this update, when a voice message is played till the end, you’ll hear a beep, and the app will start playing the next message and so on. All of this happens automatically, so you don’t need to play each of them manually.

According to Android Police, these changes are now live on WhatsApp v2.19.86 beta, which is already available on the Play Store or you can download the file from APK Mirror.

Moreover, another improvement spotted in WhatsApp’s latest beta build is that the audio messages will now display their file name below. Both improvements are part of the latest version of WhatsApp for Android, which has already been released in the Google Play Store.
