WhatsApp Now Lets Users Link Social Media Profiles

WhatsApp has introduced a social media linking feature, enabling users to connect their profiles directly within the app for improved cross-platform accessibility.

Currently available to select beta testers, this update is designed to simplify social media integration by allowing users to add their Instagram username, which then generates a clickable link on their chat info page. Reports suggest that WhatsApp may expand support to more platforms in future updates.

To safeguard user privacy, WhatsApp has implemented visibility controls, giving users the flexibility to decide who can view their linked social media accounts. Those preferring privacy can choose to keep their details hidden or opt out of linking their profiles altogether.

This enhancement aims to create a seamless experience across digital platforms, allowing users to share their social media profiles effortlessly without switching between multiple apps.
