Developer Kuro Games recently dropped the official trailer for the highly anticipated Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover. Originally announced back in April 2025, this major collaboration is finally hitting the open-world RPG next month in June 2026.
The game approaches its second anniversary following its May 2024 launch. Currently, the title sits at Version 3.3, which was released on April 29. Consequently, players expect this crossover event to drop alongside Version 3.4 on June 8.
Lucy & Rebecca Join the Roster
The crossover officially introduces fan-favorite characters Lucy and Rebecca as 5-Star Resonators. Fortunately, Kuro Games will allow players to claim Rebecca entirely for free. Meanwhile, fans will likely need to pull for Lucy on the game’s limited banners. The developers have not yet confirmed their specific Element or weapon types.
However, the new trailer briefly showcases their unique combat styles. Lucy wields her iconic Monowire. Conversely, Rebecca blasts enemies with her massive guns. These attack animations serve as direct nods to their abilities in the anime.
Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Solaris-3 Meets Night City
The video also teases the starting point of the crossover’s storyline. Lucy and Rebecca enter the world of Solaris-3 as “Edgerunners”. Furthermore, the trailer shows them interacting with Rover, Lucilla, and other game characters across the Lahai-Roi region.
Their mission offers them a clear objective. They can return home once they complete their tasks, with Lucy firmly keeping “her sights set on the moon”. Additionally, the trailer features a split-second tease of David Martinez. Viewers catch a glimpse of his back as he gazes down at the world before his jacket flies off. Currently, his exact role in the storyline remains unknown.
Expanding to Xbox
Beyond the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover, Kuro Games has another major milestone lined up. Wuthering Waves will officially release on Xbox in July 2026. Microsoft has confirmed exclusive Game Pass rewards for subscribers.
Finally, the ongoing Lahai-Roi cycle remains far from over. Players can expect several new characters, including Lucilla, to debut in later patches.
