Xiaomi Adds More Models to HyperOS 3 Testing Ahead of Wider Rollout

Xiaomi began rolling out its Android 16-based HyperOS 3 earlier this year, expanding the update to more devices over recent months. Interestingly, some older Xiaomi phones that won’t receive the Android 16 upgrade are still in line for the latest HyperOS version. The company is now internally testing HyperOS 3 on 12 devices.

According to logs from the Mi Community, models such as the Xiaomi 13 Lite, Redmi Note 13 5G, Poco X6 Neo, and Poco F5 Pro are already undergoing internal testing. These four devices are being tested with both Chinese and Global ROM versions. However, the remaining eight devices are currently limited to Chinese ROM testing.

  • Xiaomi 13 Lite / Xiaomi Civi 2
  • Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro / Xiaomi Redmi K60
  • Xiaomi Poco X6 Neo / Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 / Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R Pro
  • Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 / Xiaomi Redmi Note 12T Pro / Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro
  • Xiaomi 12T Pro / Xiaomi Redmi K50 Ultra
  • Xiaomi Civi 3 / Xiaomi 12 Pro / Xiaomi 12S Ultra
  • Xiaomi 12 / Xiaomi Redmi K60 Pro

Xiaomi also plans to include at least six more models in the internal beta phase. These will likely include the Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro, Poco F5 5G, Poco M6 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Turbo, and Xiaomi 12T.

The ongoing testing phase suggests that Xiaomi is preparing a wider rollout of HyperOS 3 in the coming months, extending support even to models outside the Android 16 update list.
