YouTuber Ducky Bhai Released from Camp Jail in Gambling Promotion Case

YouTuber Saad‑ur‑Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, was released from jail after a court approved his bail in a high‑profile gambling promotion case.

He was first arrested on August 17, 2025, at Lahore Airport by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). Authorities say the arrest came after the agency flagged his name on the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL) and prevented him from leaving the country.

The case dates back to an investigation launched on June 13, which alleged that Ducky Bhai and other influencers promoted unlicensed gambling and betting apps for financial gain. The agency claimed he endorsed multiple gambling apps on his YouTube channel and acted as a “Country Manager” for one of them. The FIR reportedly included 27 video links from his account.

After his arrest, the court granted a two‑day physical remand for NCCIA to examine devices and accounts linked to the case; this remand was later extended multiple times.

His initial bail pleas were rejected by lower courts. But on Monday, the Lahore High Court (LHC) granted post‑arrest bail after hearing his petition. The court accepted surety bonds of Rs 1 million and ordered his release pending continued investigation.

Today, a local magistrate reviewed and verified the bail documents. The court then issued a release warrant, ordering that Ducky Bhai be set free immediately, unless he faces other pending cases.

Ducky Bhai is currently facing charges filed with the FIA’s National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) over the promotion of online gambling. Authorities have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing. At the time of his release, he was joined by family and friends outside the jail.
