Pseb Drives 24 Rise In Pakistans It Export Revenue

The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), operating under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, is the official body responsible for registering and supporting IT and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) companies across Pakistan, including software firms, call centers, and freelancers.

PSEB provides a wide range of facilitation services such as tax incentives, international certifications, visa assistance, access to projects, participation in the E-Rozgar program, and provision of Software Technology Parks (STPs).

To boost global visibility and export potential, PSEB actively sponsors international trade fair participation, supports brand development, provides marketing collateral, organizes B2B matchmaking, enhances digital presence, and promotes media exposure.

These initiatives have played a vital role in strengthening Pakistan’s global IT image and accelerating export growth, firmly establishing Pakistan as a growing destination for high-quality digital services.

As of now, the number of IT companies registered and valid with PSEB stands at 9,866. During the fiscal year 2023-24, Pakistan’s IT industry generated an export revenue of approximately USD 3.22 billion (till June 30, 2024), marking a 24.12% year-over-year growth compared to FY 2022-23.
