Pakistan, Backed by Google, shuts down dozens of Indian news outlets and websites

BREAKING NEWS: Pakistan, with the support of Google, blocked 20 Indian news channels and 34 websites /URLs in tit for tat move, as these were propagating against the country.

Major Indian news TV channels, India Today and NDTV, among many others, are now blocked and not accessible on YouTube or Google.

This was revealed by Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman while briefing the Senate Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication.  The action was taken as tit for tat response as India has blocked several Pakistani channels.

Remember that India has blocked Pakistan’s Govt official X account, Imran Khan’s and Bilawal Bhutto’s accounts, among many bans regularly conducted since the Pahalgam attack.
