NADRA Expands Overseas Services with New Counters in 4 Countries
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has expanded its global outreach by opening new facilitation counters in Canada, Italy, Bahrain, and Jordan to improve services for overseas Pakistanis.
According to a NADRA spokesperson, new counters have been established at Pakistani embassies in Montreal, Vancouver, Milan, Manama, and Amman, while another in Rome will be operational soon. The initiative aims to make identity and documentation services more accessible to Pakistani citizens living abroad.
The spokesperson added,
“NADRA is continuously upgrading and digitizing its systems to ensure efficient and faster service delivery for our citizens overseas.”
In addition to these physical counters, NADRA’s Pak Identity mobile app allows overseas users to process ID services remotely, including renewals, biometric verification, and appointment bookings.
Acting on the Interior Ministry’s directives, NADRA has also made CNIC cancellation after death free of charge, easing legal and financial burdens for families in inheritance and pension-related matters.
Recently, the authority introduced a “Proof of Life” feature within the Pak Identity app to assist pensioners facing fingerprint issues, allowing them to confirm their status online without visiting NADRA offices.
This expansion marks another milestone in NADRA’s mission to provide secure, digital, and citizen-friendly services both domestically and abroad.
