NIC Karachi Welcomes 32 Startups to Cohort 14 for Pakistan’s Innovation Growth
A new wave of innovation begins as the National Incubation Center (NIC) Karachi officially welcomes 32 startups to its Cohort 14, marking another milestone in Pakistan’s startup ecosystem. Selected from over 800 applications, these ventures span diverse sectors including Fintech, Cybersecurity, HealthTech, and Industrial Automation.
NIC Karachi, one of Pakistan’s most prominent incubation hubs supported by the Ministry of IT & Telecom, Ignite National Technology Fund, and LMKT, continues to nurture tech-driven entrepreneurs shaping the future of Pakistan’s digital economy.
During the orientation ceremony, serial entrepreneur Khizer Ahmed, Founder of Hukum Janab (acquired by Kaacib), motivated the new founders with insights from his journey, emphasizing persistence and adaptability in entrepreneurship.
On World Mental Health Day, Dr. Talha Rehman, Co-founder of Be Me.global and an alumnus of NIC Karachi, highlighted the importance of mental well-being for startup founders, stating,
“True success begins with a healthy mind resilience is the real strength of every entrepreneur.”
Ali Asim, Director HR at YBG Group, and Syed Azfar Hussain, Project Director at NIC Karachi, reiterated the center’s vision to empower innovators and create globally competitive digital businesses.
With startups such as Agrogen, BlockApex, Munafah.AI, Beecortex, and WhatFlow, this new cohort promises to drive technological advancement and strengthen Pakistan’s position as a tech destination in the region.
