Xiaomi Redmi Phone

Xiaomi may be preparing one of its most ambitious smartphones yet. According to a new report, the company is developing a phone featuring a 9,000 mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging.

The source also revealed that Xiaomi is testing a 10,000 mAh prototype, suggesting the brand is exploring new limits for smartphone battery capacity. If accurate, this device could become one of the largest battery phones under the Redmi lineup.

Some Chinese reports claim the phone could be the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5. Earlier leaks about the Turbo 5 pointed to a 7,500 mAh battery, which contradicts the latest claims.

However, even if Xiaomi brings such a large battery to market, it may remain exclusive to China. Previous Xiaomi models with high-capacity silicon-carbon batteries have launched internationally with reduced cell sizes.
