Pakistan’s road infrastructure is set for a major boost as Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan announced the expansion of the Faisalabad Pindi Bhattian Motorway (M-3) from four lanes to six, along with the initiation of construction work on the Faisalabad Lahore GT Road. The announcement reflects the government’s renewed push to modernize transport routes and support economic activity.

Speaking at a workers’ convention in Faisalabad, the minister highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen national connectivity and upgrade critical highways. From the image details and official statements, Aleem Khan emphasized,

“Pakistan’s standing in the world has improved, and the armed forces continue to ensure our security and stability.”

He noted that the government views infrastructure development as a backbone for economic growth, smoother trade flows and safer travel for millions of citizens.
