NADRA Launches Mobile Registration Drive for Overseas Pakistanis in the UK
In a major facilitation step for overseas Pakistanis, NADRA has launched its first ever mobile registration drive in the UK, offering closer, faster, and easier access to CNIC services across key cities. The initiative begins on December 13, 2025, targeting Pakistani residents in Brent (London), Glasgow, and Nottingham.
NADRA has officially kicked off a mobile registration drive in the United Kingdom to simplify identification services for overseas Pakistanis. Describing the initiative as “closer, faster, and easier,” NADRA said this is the first-of-its-kind operation being conducted in the UK.
The drive will be held on December 13, 2025, across Brent (London), Glasgow, and Nottingham, with NADRA sharing location maps on its social media platforms for public convenience. The authority also clarified that earlier mentions of “Manchester” were incorrect, confirming that only the above three cities are included.
NADRA stated, “We look forward to serving you at your convenience,” encouraging residents to visit their website and WhatsApp channel for further updates. Complaints may be registered through the official complaints portal.
This comes after Pakistan recently enabled citizens to apply for their first CNIC directly through the Pak ID mobile app, a move aimed at easing documentation processes. As part of a government initiative, the first CNIC (without chip) will be issued free of cost within 15 days to all eligible citizens aged 18 and above.
