Xiaomi appears to be preparing a major push in smartphone hardware, with battery capacity taking center stage. New reports suggest the company plans to introduce several devices by the end of this month, while even bigger upgrades are already being planned for next year.

Among the expected launches is the Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, which is rumored to feature a 9,000 mAh battery. If accurate, this alone would place the device among the largest battery-equipped phones currently on the market. Xiaomi has not confirmed the details, but leaks point to a strong focus on long-lasting power.

However, Xiaomi’s battery ambitions reportedly go far beyond this month’s lineup. According to a fresh rumor, the company will release a smartphone next year with a massive 10,000 mAh battery. The device is said to support 100W wired charging and very fast wireless charging as well.

What stands out most is the phone’s physical design. Despite the oversized battery, the handset is expected to measure less than 8.5 mm in thickness. Achieving that balance between capacity and form factor would mark a significant engineering milestone.

Xiaomi is not alone in this race. Honor is also preparing a Win series phone with a 10,000 mAh battery and 100W wired charging. As a result, multi-day battery life is becoming a realistic expectation for heavy users.
