he Pakistani rupee (PKR) extended its strong performance, closing in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 104th consecutive day and posting significant gains against other major currencies, including the Euro and British Pound.
On Friday, the PKR closed at 279.56 against the USD, gaining three paisas during the session. It strengthened by Rs. 2.1 against the Euro (EUR) and Rs. 2.89 against the British Pound (GBP), demonstrating impressive week-ending momentum.
Other notable currency movements included a gain of 66 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD), 40 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD), and minor appreciation against the Saudi Riyal (SAR). However, the PKR remained in red against the UAE Dirham (AED).
