The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is expanding its operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by establishing 26 new facilitation centers in the province’s southern districts to improve access to essential identity services for residents.
The development was discussed during a meeting at the Governor’s House in Peshawar, where Faisal Karim Kundiemphasized the need to strengthen NADRA’s presence in southern areas so citizens can obtain identity-related services closer to their homes.
During the meeting, Khalid Inayatullah, Director General of NADRA in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, along with Behzad Khan, briefed the governor on ongoing projects aimed at expanding the authority’s facilities across the province.
Officials informed that land has been acquired from the Agriculture Department for the construction of a new NADRA complex in Dera Ismail Khan, and construction work is expected to begin soon. The DG NADRA also shared progress on establishing 26 facilitation centers across various southern districts.
Authorities further revealed that NADRA Facilitation Centers are also being planned in Gul Imam and Amakhel in Tank District, along with five densely populated villages of Dera Ismail Khan.
Governor Kundi directed officials to prioritize heavily populated areas for the new facilities so that a larger number of residents can benefit from NADRA services at their doorstep, in line with the government’s vision of improving public service delivery.
