Huawei has finally launched the Mate 80 Pro outside China, and Malaysia is the first country to get it. The flagship starts at MYR 3,999, roughly $1,017, for the top 16GB and 512GB storage model. It is available in gold, green, and black through Huawei’s official online store and selected retailers.
The Mate 80 Pro comes with a 6.75-inch LTPO OLED display that supports FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on Huawei’s Kirin 9030 chipset and houses a large 5,750mAh battery, supporting 100W wireless fast charging.
Photography is a major highlight, with a 50MP main camera featuring a variable f/1.4-f/4.0 aperture. It also has a 48MP periscope lens offering 4x optical zoom and a 40MP ultrawide camera for expansive shots.
