Capital Smart Motors has introduced the JMEV EV3 in Pakistan, marking its move into the small electric car segment. The all-electric sub-compact hatchback was first shown at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) last year, and it has now reached the local market with pricing and booking details.
The company has launched the EV3 in two variants, targeting different buyers in the entry-level electric vehicle space. The base variant carries an introductory price of Rs. 4,899,999, while the higher variant is priced at Rs. 4,999,999. Bookings will open in April 2026, with a booking amount set at Rs. 490,000. However, the company has not yet confirmed the exact booking date.
Deliveries are expected to begin in July 2026. This creates a waiting period of nearly three months between booking and the start of deliveries. As a result, early buyers will need to wait before receiving their vehicles.
The launch highlights Capital Smart Motors’ entry into a growing segment of Pakistan’s auto market. Interest in electric vehicles is rising as fuel prices continue to climb. At the same time, more consumers are exploring cleaner and more cost-effective transport options.
However, the company has not yet revealed full technical details of the EV3. Key specifications such as battery capacity, motor power, charging time, and feature list remain undisclosed. These details are expected to be shared closer to the booking period. This approach suggests a phased rollout strategy for the vehicle.
