The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has intensified its crackdown on property tax defaulters, sealing multiple units during special operations in Abbottabad and Swabi.
According to department officials, a targeted drive was conducted in the Qalandarabad area of Abbottabad under the supervision of Excise and Taxation Officer Ammar Jadoon. The operation focused on major property tax defaulters, and several units were sealed under legal provisions after repeated notices failed to secure payment of outstanding dues.
In Swabi, similar action was taken under the supervision of Excise and Taxation Officer Shakeel Khan, with multiple properties sealed due to non-payment of taxes despite repeated warnings. Officials emphasized that property owners should clear their outstanding liabilities promptly to avoid legal action, penalties, and possible sealing of their properties.
The department has reiterated that such operations will continue across the province without discrimination, ensuring effective tax recovery and compliance with provincial tax laws.
