Pak Star Automobile (Pvt.) Ltd has revised the retail prices of its Metro e-vehicle lineup, citing rising operational costs driven by recent increases in fuel prices.
In a notification issued on April 3, the company explained that higher sea freight charges, along with increased logistics costs from Karachi seaport to the factory and onward transportation to dealerships, have significantly impacted its cost structure over the past month.
The surge in petroleum product prices has been a major contributor to these additional expenses, leaving the company with limited room to absorb the increased burden. As a result, Pak Star Automobile has increased the prices of all Metro e-vehicle models by Rs. 5,000, effective immediately.
The revised pricing applies to all orders from April 3, and dealers have been instructed to deposit payments including the additional amount over existing retail prices.
