Oppo has officially launched the K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ in China after weeks of leaks. The company is clearly targeting mobile gamers this time. Both devices bring built-in cooling fans, LED lighting, and large silicon-carbon batteries. As a result, users get a mix of performance and endurance in one package.
The K15 Pro+ leads the lineup with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. It offers a resolution of 1,272 x 2,772 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. It also includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and a 16MP front camera. In comparison, the K15 Pro features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It uses an optical fingerprint scanner and also includes a 16MP selfie camera.
Both models follow a gaming-focused design language. They include built-in cooling fans and LED lighting. Despite this active cooling setup, both phones carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The K15 Pro+ is available in Photodust (pink), Origin Grey (grey), and Cyber Wings (white). Meanwhile, the K15 Pro comes in the same colors, along with an additional Golden Legend (black) option.
The K15 Pro+ runs on the Dimensity 9500s chipset. It is paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. On the other hand, the K15 Pro uses the Dimensity 8500 chipset. It keeps the same 12GB LPDDR5X RAM but offers up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. To manage heat, both devices include large vapor chambers and physical cooling fans placed near the motherboard. Air intake sits below the main camera, and Oppo says this setup can reduce temperatures by up to 5°C. Both phones run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
In terms of cameras, there is no difference between the two models. The rear setup includes a 50MP main camera with a 24mm equivalent focal length, f/1.8 aperture, and optical image stabilization. It is paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera with a 15mm equivalent focal length and f/2.2 aperture. On the front, both devices include a 16MP selfie camera.
Battery capacity is another key highlight here. The K15 Pro+ packs a massive 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W wired charging support. Meanwhile, the K15 Pro includes a 7,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W wired charging. Both models also support reverse wired charging and bypass charging.
Pricing keeps both devices competitive. The Oppo K15 Pro starts at $436 for the 12GB/256GB variant, while the 12GB/512GB version is priced at $509. The K15 Pro+ starts at $509 for the 12GB/256GB model and goes up to $611 for the 12GB/512GB configuration.
