The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued an advisory for Pakistani nationals residing in Saudi Arabia, announcing the temporary suspension of services at its Madinah office during the Hajj season 2026.
According to the advisory, the suspension came into effect on April 12 following instructions from the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah. Services at the Madinah center will remain closed until the conclusion of the Hajj season.
The decision has been taken to manage increased administrative and logistical demands during the pilgrimage period. However, NADRA has increased staffing at its Registration Center in Jeddah to accommodate a higher number of applicants and ensure continuity of essential services.
Pakistani citizens in Saudi Arabia have been advised to contact the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah for further assistance and updated information regarding services.
Meanwhile, NADRA services remain accessible digitally through the Pak ID Mobile App, allowing users to access a range of registration and identity-related services remotely during the suspension period.
Officials stated that the temporary arrangements aim to minimize inconvenience for overseas Pakistanis while ensuring smooth service delivery during the Hajj season.
