The District Administration of Islamabad has issued an important update regarding public transport operations in the federal capital, announcing that all types of public and goods transport are now allowed to enter the city.
According to the District Administration Islamabad District Administration Islamabad, restrictions on transport movement have been eased across the city, and all major bus terminals except Faizabad have been reopened for operations.
Officials confirmed that bus stations throughout Islamabad have resumed normal activity, restoring transport connectivity for commuters and freight services.
However, the Faizabad Bus Terminal will remain closed until further notice, with authorities stating that it will stay shut until further orders (till further notice).
The administration said the decision aims to improve traffic flow and ensure smoother transportation services across the capital while maintaining necessary regulatory controls at sensitive locations.
Commuters have been advised to use alternative terminals for travel until the Faizabad facility is reopened.
