The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the full list of match officials for the Pakistan Super League PSL 11 Qualifier on 28 April and both Eliminators on 29 April and 1 May.
As per the list, Sir Richard Richardson of the ICC Elite Panel will serve as match referee for the Qualifier between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United in Karachi today.
The Qualifier will be played at National Bank Stadium, with Richardson concluding his PSL 11 campaign after officiating in a total of ten matches this season.
Christopher Gaffaney of New Zealand and Alexander Wharf of England, both ICC Elite Panel umpires, will stand as on-field umpires for the Qualifier fixture.
Faisal Khan Aafreedi has been named as third umpire for the Qualifier between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United, while Zulfiqar Jan will fulfil the role of fourth umpire.
Former Sri Lanka international Roshan Mahanama will head the Playing Control Team for both Eliminator 1 and Eliminator 2 as match referee. Mahanama has officiated in all eleven seasons of the PSL, bringing his total as match referee in the league to 127 matches.
Eliminator 1 between Hyderabad Kingsmen and Multan Sultans in Lahore on 29 April will feature Bangladesh’s Shahid Saikat and Asif Yaqoob as on-field umpires.
Rashid Riaz will serve as third umpire for Eliminator 1, while Nasir Hussain has been appointed to the role of fourth umpire. Eliminator 2 on 1 May will feature Ahsan Raza and Shahid Saikat as on-field umpires, with Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz in supporting roles.
The PCB confirmed that officials for the PSL 11 final, scheduled for 3 May, will be announced separately at a later date.
