The Sindh government has once again relaxed biometric verification requirements for vehicle transfer procedures, providing relief to citizens purchasing vehicles across the province.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, buyers will now be allowed to transfer vehicles without the seller’s mandatory NADRA biometric verification.
Officials said the move was aimed at facilitating the public and reducing complications faced during vehicle ownership transfer procedures.
Under the latest notification, the exemption from biometric verification requirements will remain in effect until June 30, 2026.
The Sindh Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department has also directed relevant authorities to ensure implementation of the decision across the province.
