Huawei has officially introduced its latest premium tablet, the Huawei MatePad Pro Max, in global markets. The device has now launched in the UK with a starting price of £999.99, targeting users who want a high-end tablet experience for work and entertainment.
The new tablet features a large 13.2-inch OLED PaperMatte display with a 3000×2000 resolution. It also supports a 144Hz refresh rate and delivers up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness. As a result, users can expect smooth visuals and improved outdoor visibility.
Huawei has equipped the MatePad Pro Max with 12GB RAM and storage options of 256GB and 512GB. For photography and video calls, the tablet includes a 50MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera.
The company has also focused heavily on battery performance. In European markets, the tablet packs a 9,760mAh battery. However, regions outside the EU get a slightly larger 10,400mAh battery instead. The device supports 66W wired charging along with 40W reverse wired charging.
There is also a difference in the retail package depending on the region. Huawei does not include a charger in the EU box. Meanwhile, customers in other markets receive a 100W charging brick with the tablet.
In addition, the MatePad Pro Max comes with six speakers and four microphones. Huawei is offering the tablet in blue and space gray color options. Despite its large screen, the device remains extremely slim at just 4.7mm thick and weighs only 499 grams.
The tablet has not reached the Pakistani market yet. However, rumors suggest Huawei may launch it in Pakistan soon. Reports also indicate that it could become available through local retail stores in the coming months.
