Pakistan’s mobile telecom market saw small but clear shifts in March 2026, according to official telecom data exclusive to Techjuice. The latest figures show continued pressure on leading operators as competition stays strong across the sector.
Jazz remained the market leader with a 36.56 percent share. However, its position slightly declined from 36.58 percent in February. The drop is small, yet it reflects ongoing subscriber movement in a highly competitive market.
Zong stayed the second-largest operator. Its market share fell to 26.47 percent in March from 26.55 percent in February. The decline was marginal, but it adds to a broader trend of slow shifts among top operators.
Telenor Pakistan also recorded a slight decrease. Its share moved down from 21.4 percent in February to 21.38 percent in March. Although the change is minimal, it shows continued subscriber churn in the market.
In contrast, Ufone showed steady growth. Its market share rose to 14.54 percent in March from 14.43 percent in February. The increase signals gradual subscriber gains and improving market traction.
Meanwhile, the Special Communications Organization (SCO) maintained a small but stable position. Its market share stood at 1.05 percent, showing consistency in its limited footprint.
Overall, Pakistan’s telecom sector remains highly competitive. Operators are expanding networks and pushing aggressive data offers. They are also focusing on digital services to retain users. Industry analysts say these small shifts may continue in the coming months. The possible Ufone-Telenor merger and the country’s evolving 5G rollout could further reshape market dynamics.
