The iQOO 15T now has an official launch date after weeks of leaks and teaser campaigns. The company confirmed that the smartphone will debut in China on May 20 at 7 PM local time.
Along with the announcement, iQOO shared a teaser video that revealed key details about the upcoming device. The company also confirmed that the iQOO 15T will run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 “Monster Edition” chipset. This custom version of the Dimensity 9500 focuses on better gaming performance and improved frame-rate stability. Moreover, the phone uses iQOO’s in-house Q3 gaming chip to enhance the overall experience.
The company has already confirmed several display specifications as well. The iQOO 15T will feature a 6.83-inch display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. As a result, users can expect smoother animations and a more responsive gaming experience.
Camera details have also started appearing through recent rumors. Reports suggest the smartphone may include a 200MP primary camera paired with a 50MP secondary sensor. While iQOO has not officially confirmed the camera setup yet, expectations remain high for flagship-level photography performance.
Battery capacity could become another major highlight of the device. According to leaks, the iQOO 15T may pack a massive 8,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. If true, the combination could offer long battery life with significantly faster charging speeds.
One of the confirmed color variants is called Azure Cloud. The finish uses a striking gradient design that gives the phone a premium look.
The launch event will also introduce more products from the brand. iQOO is expected to unveil the iQOO Pad6 Pro tablet alongside the iQOO TWS 5i earbuds. Reports indicate that the Pad6 Pro could arrive as a rebranded version of the vivo Pad6 Pro.
